DROITWICH Spa under 11s showed improvement in November’s Worcestershire Sunday hockey tournament for the age group against three other clubs.
They beat a more experienced Worcester junior side with two quick goals and then saw off Kings Heath 2-0 thanks to goals from Ross Dyson and Tom Godwin.
Spa showed determination after losing the opener 1-0 to Bromsgrove when defences were generally on top before their opponents struck.
