AVONCROFT crashed to a heavy 193 run reverse against Netherton in their final Worcester County League Division Three game of the season.
Depleted Avoncroft could only raise 10 players and paid the price as Netherton amassed 256 for six declared .
Avoncroft were then skittled out for just 63 runs inside 17 overs.
Skipper Craig Hughes, who missed the match, admitted: "By all accounts it was a bit of a struggle and means we have lost our last six games."
Avoncroft were also without their opening bowlers Paul Athey and John Hunter, who has finished as the leading wicket taker in Division Three.
Hughes has promised a serious recruitment drive during the close season, especially with leading run scorer David James retiring, but long time injury victim Matt Hare should return to boost the batting.
