HISTORY was made for Bromsgrove Tennis Club as six teams gained clinched promotion this season.
The cream of the crop were the B Team squad of Hannah Weston, Amy Foster, Kelly Kenward, Sophie Oliver, Imogen Sinclair and Sophie Cornelius, who took the Division Two title by four points and will join the A Team in Division One next year.
At the other end of the leagues, the G Team won picked up the Division 11 title by just two points.
A key crunch match was The D Team's last match in Division Eight for the D Team was a crunch clash against Woolaston.
They knew they needed a to win to grab the final promotion place from Woolaston them.
Their narrow win by one set, with rubbers equal, meant they pipped Woolaston Woolsaton to promotion by one point.
In Division Five, the C Team comfortably took the runners-up spot by six points as did the E Team in Division Nine.
Finally there was a nail-biting end of season for the F Team as abandoned matches were completed, but results went their way and they grabbed the runners-up spot by two points.
