DAN Protherough wants Bromsgrove RFC to produce one final push in the National Three Midlands.
The Boars are fifth in the table and still in the hunt for a top four finish.
But they face a testing end to what has been a positive campaign.
Bromsgrove have a free weekend before a tricky league clash at mid-table Scunthorpe on April 11.
They then welcome champions South Leicester to Finstall Park a week later in what should be a memorable end to the 2014-15 season.
“We’d love to end the season strongly and I don’t think we’re far off the best teams in the league,” commented the head coach.
“We’ve been progressing and getting better throughout the season.
“Scunthorpe have a very good home record and not many teams have got any joy at there place and of course South Leicester will be a big challenge for us.”
Bromsgrove recorded a rousing win over Sandbach on Saturday, seeing off the visitors 24-19.
The Boars coach have won more comfortably as they dominated for long spells but at times allowed their rivals back into the game after taking a 19-12 lead.
Protherough said: “We played well but at time we could have made it easier for ourselves.
“It was an entertaining game but at times I was pulling my hair out.
“It was similar to some of our previous matches, when we’ve either had to battle back of gave away a lead.
“We’ve got to control games a little more but over all I was pleased with the win.”
