DROITWICH played their part in their scrappiest game of the season against bottom of the league Old Leamingtonians as they won 13-7.
Spa were made to work hard by a side fighting for survival in the Midlands Division Two West (South).
They took the lead with the last kick of the first half thanks to Bobby Scott-Walker.
In the second half, Droitwich had the wind against their backs and made good use of that with great powerful runs from Ross Midgeley and skipper James Shewell.
This was followed by a line break from Mark Strutt and the visitors were penalised, allowing Scott-Walker to kick a penalty over from the touch line.
A lapse in concentration from midfield allowed the visitors to take the lead in the game with a converted try.
But Tom Wormington was able to crash over under the posts to fire Spa ahead.
