DROITWICH Spa made it three wins in a row as they defeated Paget Rangers 2-1.
Goals for Danny Ward and James Lemon in the first ten minutes made sure Spa move away from the Midlands Division Two relegation zone.
Joint managers Wayne Oliver and Mark Owen continue to make an impact since taking over in October.
Oliver said: “The players deserve credit, they have taken what we are trying to do and really embraced it.
“It’s all down to them, their attitude has been first class.
“The performance on Saturday, was near faultless.
“The nine points we have earned moves us away from the relegation battle.”
Spa, who are fourth from bottom, face rivals Fairfield Villa on Saturday (2pm).
Droitwich beat a weakened Villa side 3-1 over Christmas but Oliver is expecting a far tougher test this weekend.
