JOINT manager Wayne Oliver says Droitwich are in a scrap for points in the Midlands League Division Two after losing 3-1 to Earlswood.

Saturday's defeat means Spa are second from bottom on seven points after 11 games but certainly not cut adrift at the foot of the table.

He said: "We're in a scrap for points, we haven't got any games in hand so it's a straight fight.

"There's plenty of time for us to pick up points but we have to start playing for 90 minutes.

"Against Earlswood we did not play in the first half but Andy Crowther scored early after the break and we threw the kitchen sink at them.

"We couldn't have done anymore and they hit us on the break right at the end when we were chasing the game."

Spa are set to face sixth-placed AFC Glades away in the league on Saturday (2pm ko).

Mark Burrows and Chris Higginson are both set to be available for this weekend.

Oliver added: "I think it's a mental thing but once we starting performing for the entire game we'll start picking up points."
