DROITWICH Spa got back to winning ways in the Worcestershire Junior Cup as they defeat Powick 2-0 to move into the semi-finals.
First half goals for Graeme Pardoe and Stephen Pitt made sure Spa ended a three-game losing run.
Now they have their first home game in a month when they tackle mid-table Earlswood in the Midlands Division Two on Saturday (2pm ko).
Spa remain second from bottom but are very much in touching distance with the sides above such as Knowle and Kenilworth Town.
Joint manager Wayne Oliver said: "It's good to be back at home and we must make sure we build-on Saturday's result.
"We've had a very tough run of fixtures but the performance against Powick was encouraging."
A week before, Spa had lost 4-0 at Leicester Road but Oliver felt his played well at Hinckley AFC's old ground.
Oliver said: "It was not a 4-0 result. We played well but they took their chances.
"The lads played well considering we had a 120 mile round trip."
