MEADOW Park Under-13s secured a valuable three points by beating Worcester Colts 3-0 to maintain pole position in the Worcestershire FA County Youth Development League.

With Elliot Ward out through illness, Theo Fields out with a broken collarbone and Jacob Willis recovering from a virus, Meadow Park faced a stern challenge against a Worcester side bolstered by several Worcester City youth players.

Pete Efiong linked well with Sam Gordon and Harry Tudge to force a corner which Cain Ellis narrowly headed over as the first half ended in stalemate.

At half-time, the Bromsgrove boys were urged to utilise the less boggy flanks to crack open the Worcester defence.

Within minutes of the re-start they were ahead when Josh Done’s strong run, ended with his shot nestled in the Colts’ net.

Terrel Jeffers bagged Park’s second after a shot from Danny Shaw was parried.

Todd Bold then put the icing on the cake with his strike from 25 yards for 3-0.

l Santiago Colts Under-13s Girls maintained their 100 per cent record by beating Ulverley Hawks 3-1.

The Under-15s went down 3-2 against Maypole United.
