BROMSGROVE Cricket Club celebrated a good season with their annual dinner and awards evening.

The event, which was held at Grafton Manor Hotel, was the celebration of another successful season, with the Sunday first team winning the Worcestershire Sunday League for the third season in succession.

The Saturday Fourths also clinched their division of the Worcester County League, and the club reached the final, held at New Road, of the inaugural County T20 Cup.

Longstanding club member Phil Duffy won the Joe Tilt Award for the volunteer of the season, while Jack Harding was given the Ken Bayliss Award for the best up-and-coming youngster.

Adam Jones was presented with the prestigious Tom Abel Award after his impressive individual innings of 78 in the County T20 semi-final.

After the dinner and the presentation of the awards, the members of the club and guests partied the night away to the tunes of Grafton Manor’s resident DJ.
