DROITWICH Spa head into a testing month of fixtures on a high after they defeated Coton Green 5-1 on Saturday.
Braces for James Ward and Nicholas Seabourne, as well as an own goal, sealed a second win of the season in the Midlands Football League Division Two.
Now they begin a testing set of fixtures with a trip to third-placed Coventry United.
After that, improving Spa also tackle Leicester Road.
But it has been an excellent start to the campaign for the new-look squad of Oliver and Mark Owen.
Joint manager Wayne Oliver said: “The players are on a high after beating Coton.
“It wasn’t an easy game and Coton did not stop battling until the very end.
“It’s our job to try and keep the players’ feet on the ground because we have some difficult fixtures coming up.
We are pleased with the progress which has been made.”
