DROITWICH men went down 4-1 to Pershore in the West Midlands Division Two.
Spa had started the last match of 2013-14 campaign quickly and confidently and this approach was rewarded with Craig Timmis beating the Pershore keeper with ease in the opening two minutes of this encounter. But Pershore hit back with four goals.
Droitwich finished sixth in the table with four wins, three draws and nine defeats.
The seconds hammered Pershore 7-2. Spa started quickly and scored two quick goals through Nick Bates before Barry Williams and Andy Rollason increased their lead. In the second half, Bates added another two, taking his final season tally to 27.
Aide Clifton scored an unfortunate own goal but Barry Williams added Spa’s 78th league goal as they finished third. The thirds lost 3-0 to Hampton-in-Arden.
