Thomas claims silver in regionals

Theo Thomas and Toby Uren impressed in Birmingham.
BROMSGROVE gymnasts Theo Thomas and Toby Uren produced respectable scores at the Regional Championship in Birmingham.
The duo, representing Worcester Gym Club, were taking part in their first six-piece competition.
Thomas scored 65.95 in the under-10s to finish second and earn silver.
Uren obtained a score of 64.20 in the under-7 category giving him a very respectable fifth position overall. It was a very tightly fought battle with Uren in third place up until the last piece.
It was a great day for the whole club of 23 gymnasts they won four golds, four silvers and two bronze medals.
