ADAM Lloyd was first home for Bromsgrove and Redditch AC in Gloucester in the second round of the Birmingham Cross-Country League.

Lloyd matched his 18th position from the first match at Leamington to lead the A team, with Rich Lomas (24th) and Dave Gemmel (25th) close behind.

Simon Lanckham (46th) and Andy Freeman (90th) were again in our first six.

Mark Graham (100th) stepped up to complete the A team scorers. Dean Hartshorne (119th) was first home for the BRAC B team.

Kevin Lanckham soldiered on after stumbling in a hidden water-filled hole to be 124th but finished with a swollen ankle.

Ian Keyte (141st) continued his comeback from injury and once again Phil Richardson (152nd) beat many younger runners.
