BROMSGROVE RFC battled to victory in the Plate Competition in the 24-team Alcester 7s.
The Boars were unfortunate to lose their first round cup match 4-2 to invitational team Squashed Budgies.
But they went on to win their next four matches, beating Bournville RFC in the final.
Captain Drew Harper lifted the trophy, while Sam Bastock, Barney Parker and Charlie Carter shared the top try scorer award with six each.
Chris MacGregor won the top tackler award for the tournament.
