DROITWICH got among the goals for a second week in a row in the West Midlands Division One as they drew 3-3 with Stafford on Saturday.

Matt Lee, Craig Timmis and Lee Wakelam hit the back of the net for Spa, who have drawn their first two matches of the season.

Spa visit to Solihull Blossomfield on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the seconds got off the mark with a hard-fought 1-1 draw with Stafford.

Goalkeeper Cameron Grant earned the man-of-the-match honours with a string of great saves.

Spa had the better of the opening exchanges and took an early lead from a clever deflection into the far corner from winger Luke Wicks.

As the game wore on, Stafford’s youthful side created a number of chances and won a high number of short corners but were stopped every time by the impressive Grant.

But Stafford piled on the pressure and levelled the scores.

The thirds beat Bloxwich 2-0 thanks to goals from Joseph Neal and Pepe Eaglesfield.

Meanwhile, the fourths held Stafford fifths to a 0-0 draw thanks to keeper George Robertshaw.
