IMPROVING Spa continued to gain momentum as they gathered another bonus point victory against visitors Bedworth in the Midlands Two West (South).

Having secured there first league victory of the season last week against Upton, Spa came into the game looking to build on that performance.

In near perfect conditions, they went about playing their game plan with intensity and tempo.

Still struggling with injuries and unavailability, a youthful Spa side took to the field and put in a professional performance and produced a fine victory.

Four tries were scored in total, each one following a similar pattern.

Good secure ball gained by the forward pack, was followed by great handling and lines of running by the young back line.

Tries were scored by Ryan Handley (2), Craig Mortlemans and Sean Walker, while Rob Poke followed up his try last week with a penalty.

Bobby Scott-Walker made his first appearance of the season, slotting two penalties and a conversion, while Stu Brookes was man-of-the-match.

Victory ensured Droitwich have picked up 11 points from the last two matches and after four games they are lie in seventh place.

Droitwich have a break from the league this Saturday, but will look to gain further momentum when they visit Banbury on Saturday, October 20.
