BROMSGROVE Sporting are hoping to raid Saturday’s opponents Blackwood before their Midland Combination Premier clash.

Manager Keith Draper wants to bring versatile midfielder Nick Harris back to the Victoria Ground.

Harris was one of Draper’s first signings but then moved onto Blackwood.

However, it is hoped he will be back before Saturday’s away clash (3pm kick-off).

“We have about 21 or 22 players so only have to strengthen when we need to,” said Draper.

“Blackwood have waived the seven-day approach and we’ve already spoke to Nick and we’d rather him playing for us than against us.”

Sporting go into the game on the back of a 5-1 win over Castle Vale JKS and the manager feels his promoted side have got to grips with the higher level.

The Rouslers will have Chris Morrison, Jamie McWilliams and Karl Fellows available for the weekend.
