THE Clydesdale Bank 40 encounter between Middlesex and Worcestershire ended in drama with both sides making 229 to leave the match tied.
Eoin Morgan shone with an unbeaten 120 off 80 balls at Uxbridge as the hosts scored 229-4 from their 36 overs.
Worcestershire needed an unlikely 24 off the final over - but former Middlesex wicketkeeper Ben Scott hit a four and three sixes off Steven Crook to leave the visitors needing two off the last ball.
Neil Dexter dived forward at mid-on and spilled a difficult catch and Scott (29 not out) scrambled through for a single to ensure the spoils were shared.
Aussie Phil Hughes earlier scored 69 and Gareth Andrew 42 in the visitors' 229-7.
