Bromsgrove Sporting 2, Boldmere St M Res 3 (aet). SPORTING were knocked out of the Smedley Crooke Trophy for the second time on Saturday losing 3-2 after extra-time to Boldmere St Michael Reserves.
The Rouslers were eliminated last year but were re-instated on a technicality but their revived run came to an end.
The Mikes scored first through Chris Milner on 64 minutes but James Turk equalised five minutes later.
Sporting took the lead on 72 minutes but Boldmere equalised three minutes later with a spectacular 35- yard screamer from Leon Miller.
In extra-time, Richard Howles got the winner for the Sutton Coldfield side.
