CATSHILL under-10s held a minute’s silence for Thomas Hall, a year five pupil at St John’s Middle School and classmate of three of the team who sadly passed away this week after a long battle with illness, before their 2-0 win over Nunnery Eagles.

Goals for Joe Green and Teddy Cowland ensured victory for Catshill.

On Sunday, Catshill ended their season with a 1-1 home draw with PS Boys, with Liam Jones scoring.

Bromsgrove Blades under-11s were edged out in a nine-goal thriller 4-5 by Crusaders.

Curtis Smith had opened the scoring for Blades before Crusaders powered into a 3-1 lead. Tom Bailey pulled one back and Cameron Watts levelled the scores but Bromsgrove’s opponents took the lead again.

Watts made it 4-4 with a close range finish but a last-gasp winner stunned Blades.

Santiago Colts under-13s Girls secured their place in the League Cup semi-final with a 2-1 win over Kewford Eagles, Louise O'Connell scored both goals, while Georgia Higgins and Amy Turbill were joint men of the match.

The under-9s Allstars team remain top of the league after overcoming Lyndon Colts 3-2, with Joe Wathen, Josh Donaghey and Sam Howard scoring, while the Superstars side saw off Alvechurch 4-0 thanks to goals for man of the match Ethan Smith, Tom Fellows, Harvey Thompson and Luis Wetherell.

Santiago Colts under-10s Emeralds lost their Open Cup semi-final 2-1 to Ulverley Hawks, while the under-10s Shamrocks drew 0-0 with West Hagley South.

Santiago Colts under-10s Knights defeated Castle Bromwich 1-0, while the under-11s Hot-shots were edged out 1-0 by CCC.

Colts’s under-12s side went down 12-1 to Callowbrook Swifts, with Morgan Jeremie bagging the consolation goal.

Santiago Colts under-13s shared the spoils with Rubery as they drew 2-2. Brandon Baugh and Morgan Trevis scored, while Ryan Donahgey was man of the match.

Santiago Colts under-14s Northfield defeated Castle Bromwich 5-0 to remain hot on the heals of league leaders Callowbrook Swifts, with Liam Baxter and Freddie Hicks scoring two apiece and Usamah Abdu getting the other. Josh Dennis and Charlie Linehan were joint men of the match.

Santiago Colts under-14s Rednal beat Crusaders Minor 4-2 to secure the Division Four title. Joe Rushton scored twice with Jamie Inman and Tom Finn adding the others, Connor Micklewright was man of the match.

Santiago Colts under-15s remain firmly in second spot after beating Bartley Reds 8-1. Jake Jackson grabbed four goals, while Jason Timmington (2), Ashley Rana and Luke Brooks were also on target. Aaron McDaid was man of the match.

Santiago under-10s Sting won the BCFA Futsal league with a 100 per cent record, beating Waxool 25-0 in their final match and will now represent Birmingham in the regional finals.
