AVONCROFT CC Under 14s beat Coombs Wood by nine runs to progress in the Worcester Counties Board Cup.

Croft batted first and made 121-6 from 20 overs, captain Alex brunt retiring on 50 and Ben Warwick making 21.

They then restricted Coombs Wood to 112-6, Ben Hewitt taking two for 12, Hardeep Hundall one for 20 and Rob Colemeadow one for 22.

The result keeps Croft’s unbeaten record going.
