MARK Benbow equalised 10 minutes from time as Stourport Swifts drew 1-1 at home to Rothwell Town in British Gas Business Division One Midlands.

In a game watched by only 50 people, Kevin Byrne put Rothwell ahead on 36 minutes but Stourport upped the tempo in the second-half.

After Beng’yela Ngwa forced the visitors’ keeper Alex Malong into action, Benbow swooped from 15 yards following Chris Cornes’ free-kick.

Meanwhile, Bromsgrove Rovers earned a battling point from a 0-0 draw at free-scoring Bury Town.
