STAR striker Jason Cowley has returned to Bromsgrove Sporting.

The popular hitman has signed on dual registration from AFC Telford United.

Boss Bren Kelly said: “Myself and AFC Telford manager Gavin Cowan will be working together to help develop Jason as best we can – Telford have had a great start to the season and Telford and Jason were concerned he would not get game time straight away, so he returns to Sporting.”

Cowley won’t be available until our second league game as he still has one more fixture to sit out as part of an ban.

Kelly added: “I am very happy a dual registration could be agreed and, more importantly, I am pleased that Jason will back doing what he loves, which is playing football.

“Our favourite son has returned.”

Cowley's arrival boosts the Rouslers' forward line even further after the club secured Walsall youngster Cameron Peters on a three month loan.

The 19-year-old said: “I am really excited to get going and get some games under my belt.

“I am going there to score goals, improve myself and get some more experience.

“I am the sort of player who likes running in behind, chasing down defenders and pressuring them into mistakes."
