ALVECHURCH have admitted defeat in their attempts to keep hold of midfield man Babucar Sauane and striker Yusifu Ceesay.
National League North side Nuneaton look set to sign the pair - but they have been thwarted in their bid to take central defender Ashley Carter as well.
Carter is currently on contract at Lye Meadow and Church boss Ian Long said: "We have turned down an offer from Nuneaton as Ash remains an important part of our plans going forward.
"But we are disappointed to lose both Babaucar and Yusifu. They've done really well for us.
"Babucar has been at Alvechurch for the past two seasons and progressed considerably, while Yusifu arrived 12 months ago and after a slow start made a big impact.
"Yusifu has also been involved in the latest V9 series to find the next Jamie Vardy and was looking to progress.
"We've brought in Danny O'Callaghan from Sutton Coldfield Town to fill one of the gaps, but I could still do with a bit more pace down the flanks."
