FECKENHAM fired their way into the Evesham Hospital Cup semi-finals following a 3-1 win over local rivals Fairfield Villa.

All the goals arrived in a hectic first half which saw Feckenham take the lead when Ciaran Kelly converted a pin-point Ben Welsh cross.

Feckenham soon increased the lead when Umit Eminoglu combined with Kelly before cracking home.

Villa were quick to respond when Jimmy Phillips pulled a goal back within a minute.

But just two minutes later, Feckenham restored their two goal advantage when the Villa defence dropped a clanger when allowing the ball to drop over them for Kelly to collect and convert.

Feckenham had the best chance of the second half to stretch their lead only for Welsh to somehow rifle the ball over from five yards out when it seemed easier to score.

Busy Feckenham now face Alcester Town for a place in the final where Redditch Borough await the winners.

Firstly Feckenham must take on Redditch Borough in a Midland League Division Two contest this Thursday night before entertaining Bloxwich Town on Saturday.
