CATSHILL'S Kelly Phasey secured another success at the British Equipped Powerlifting Championships.
The powerlifter, 41, is celebrating after winning the 84+kgs weight category in Horncastle, Lincolnshire, last weekend.
The win in the masters one category was her fifth at 84+kgs and also saw highlights that included a 170kg squat, a best bench press at 150.5kgs and best deadlift at 170kgs.
She said: "I didn't compete in this even last year so it was good to win this time.
"I wasn't expecting too much because you just never know on the day.
"I'd put in all the hard work beforehand so just hoped it came together."
Phasey has now been invited to represent Great Britain's Equipped Bench Press team at the European Bench Press Championships in Luxembourg and the world Equipped Bench Press Championships in South Africa later this year.
