FECKENHAM face Hampton this Saturday with a place in the Presidents Cup final at stake.

With both sides riding high in Midland League Division Two, a close contest is anticipated.

Millers boss Aaron Blackwood said: "We played Hampton in our first league game of the season and didn't give them the respect they deserved.

"We'd just beaten Dudley Town 7-0 in our final pre-season friendly and I think people became complacent.

"We've since played Hampton again in early December when we drew 3-3.

"We probably deserved more at the time, but both sides went at each other hammer and tongs in what was a great advert for football at our level and we expect more of the same this time.

"The winners will face either top of the table NKF Burbage or Northfield Town in the final."

Feckenham had their festive fixture with Earlswood Town ruled out owing a waterlogged pitch at The Entaco.

Blackwood added: "There was no let-up for the players, we went and trained for an hour and a half at South Redditch Sports and Social Club and we'll do the same again this week.

"It was ironic that I probably had the strongest squad of players available to me that I've had all season.

"I still expect to have 19 players to chose from for the Hampton game, which is a very good position to be in".
