BROMSGROVE Rugby Club return to action this week following their enforced break when they make the short trip to Stourton Park to play Stourbridge Lions on their brand new 4G pitch.

Bromsgrove will be bidding to get back on track following their first defeat of the season when they lost out to Stoke following a nine match winning streak.

As a result of that reverse, Bromsgrove surrendered top spot in Midlands West One to rivals Burton.

Head coach Dan Protherough said: "It's simply a case of getting back up on the horse again. It's a local derby and we will prepare well for it."

Protherough will be able to welcome back his Cypriot international back row player Andreas Antonio together with second row Guy Field, while versatile James Gunter comes back into contention after shaking off an ankle injury he picked up in the victory over Hereford.

Protherough claimed: "It will be great to have Andreas back because he's a real workhorse around the field.

"We should take a fair amount of travelling support to Stourbridge which should make for a good atmosphere."
