DROITWICH Spa BG under 21s’ three-game unbeaten run ended with a 3-0 home defeat to bottom-of-the-table Rushall Olympic.

It was a disappointing display from the King George’s Playing Fields hosts who never really got going in the Total Motion Midland League West Division clash.

They were not helped by going a goal down inside five minutes against a decent visiting side bolstered by their first-team squad.

In the second half, good chances were created for Droitwich’s Elliot Newton and Danny Costello but not able to be taken.

Other than that Spa created little and there was also an own goal from Tom Dale as Rushall claimed their first league win of the season.

Droitwich host Wychall Wanderers in the Challenge Bowl on Saturday (10.30am).
