BROMSGROVE Cricket Club is getting set to host a prestigious national T20 competition this weekend.

On Sunday (July 30), St Godwalds Park will be the home to the regional finals of the ECB’s NatWest National Club T20 Competition.

Teams from the Birmingham and District Premier League, the Home Counties League, the Northamptonshire League and the Leicestershire Premier League will compete for a place in the National Semi Finals to be played in August.

With three matches starting at 10am, 1pm and 4pm, the teams will be wearing coloured clothing and playing with a white ball, bringing all the razzmatazz associated with T20 cricket to the town.

Entry to the event, as well as car parking, is free, and there will be a BBQ, refreshments and a licensed bar.

Spectators are being advised to bring their own chairs, as there is limited seating available.
