THERE will be plenty of new faces featuring at Fairfield Villa this season as the Midland League Division Two side have made a string of recent signings.

They've brought in midfield man Matt Seeley and full back Reuben Wilson from last season's champions Paget Rangers together with Bromsgrove Sporting under-21 player Bradley Talbot and Brad Smith who spent last season with Stourport Swifts.

James Finn has also returned to the fold following a season with Cadbury Athletic while Scott Holiday has arrived after previously playing in the Shropshire League.

Villa have also snapped up goalkeeper Aaron Collins, the elder brother of former Villa striker Connor Collins, who left the club this summer to join Midland Premier side Lye Town.

Villa spokesman Paul Oakes also added that Alex Dugmore has left the club as well in his bid to play at a higher level and claimed: " We want to wish both players the very best. They've both made a big impact at Villa but now it's time to move on.

"Connor in particular made a major impression by averaging almost a goal-a game".

Former player Lewis Smith, who suffered a lengthy spell on the sidelines through a knee injury last term, has joined the coaching staff, where he will assist manager Wayne Davies, Lee Williams and goalkeeping coach Anthony Foster.
