Droitwich golfers to play in England Club Team Championship national finals
DROITWICH golfers will represent Worcestershire in the national final of the England Club Team Championship.
Candice Jones, Geoffrey Allen, Mary Lightfoot and Peter Lightfoot scored 84 points at a regional qualifier at Drayton Park, Staffordshire.
Eight teams, made up of two men and two women, go forward to England Golf Week at Woodhall Spa in August.
They will play off against qualifiers from three other regional events in a bid to be crowned national champions.
Droitwich will be joined by Kings Norton's Deirdre Barker, Pauline Perry, Mark Baker and Graeme Dunkley in representing the county.
