A YOUNG Bromsgrove cricketer has been selected for international duty in the ICC World Cricket League.
Jordan Smith will represent Bermuda in the competition's division 4 event which will take place in Los Angeles from October 29 to November 5.
Aged just 18, Jordan is the youngest player in Bermuda's squad Bermuda will play teams from Denmark, Italy, Jersey, Oman and the USA, with promotion to division 3 the reward for the top two nations in the group.
Mr Dave Fallows, Director of Cricket, said: "Jordan is a true Bromsgrovian; a selfless, polite young man who has worked extremely hard over the last five years to improve his cricket skills.
"This recognition, with selection for his national team is a great reward."
