BROMSGROVE Ladies got the better of Barford Tigers 4-0.
Sarah Powell bagged a brace, while Naomi Cartwright and Jo Eddy also scored.
Coach Alan Gormley said: “This was a solid performance by the girls.
We created lots of chances and managed to put away four, with three coming from penalty corners too.”
The men’s seconds outgunned Telford and Wrekin 7-4, thanks to hat-tricks for Matt Russell and Simon Adams. Mikey Woods also hit the back of the net.
The men’s third team enjoyed a 3-0 win over Market Drayton, as Matt Allen bagged a brace and Tim Davis hit the back of the net.
The men’s fourths suffered a 2-0 defeat at home to Hampton in Arden.
Bromsgrove were denied a host of goals by a series of saves by Hampton’s keeper.
Finally, the juniors were edged out 2-1 by Yardley after a slow start.
The youngsters levelled but Yardley responded quickly with the winner.
