DROITWICH Ladies produced a battling 2-2 draw against leaders Bromsgrove.

The hosts made a bright start and opened the scoring 15 minutes in, when Louise Warrilow bagged her eighth of the season.

Bromsgrove levelled the scores but Spa edged ahead again when Sophie Blackmore deflected in a strike from Susan Williams.

But their local rivals ensured it was honours even when they scored from a short corner.

The seconds got the better of Stourports sixths 2-0, thanks to first half efforts fromRachel Cooper and Rose Bevan Smith.

Meanwhile, Droitwich Men’s seconds went goal crazy as they hammered Evesham 11-0 to make it six wins in a row.

The scoring started early with Adam James getting on the scoresheet for the second week running as he deflected the ball into the roof of the net from a short corner.

Mitch Oakes then scored a brace of goals, before by Liam Hine bagged a double.

Nick Bates then took the score to six before half-time.

The scoring continued similarly in the second half with Hine adding three more, as well as Simon Blackmore, Oakes with two and Olly Oxley.
