DROITWICH Ladies secured a league double over Kings Heath as they recorded a 6-2 victory.
Spa’s Jasmine Williams opened the scoring following pressure on the Heath goal 12 minutes into the game.
Hannah Robson then deflected home a Susan Williams strike from a penalty corner and Droitwich’s third came just before half-time when Jasmine Williams tipped the ball over the line for a 3-1 half-time lead.
Kings Heath closed the gap to 3-2 just after the break, but Spa hit the goal trail again when Lucy Hine scored and Robson completed her hat-trick.
l The seconds were edged out 3-2 by Bromsgrove's fourths, as the game exploded into life after a scoreless first half.
Sarah Cooper opened the scoring for Bromsgrove only for Spa’s Emma Pingstone to make it 1-1.
Bromsgrove regained the lead with Gemma Cowley slotting the ball past the keeper from Rachael Colclough’s cross, and extended it through Amelia Kite.
Pingstone then pulled one back, but despite late pressure, Spa could not find a leveller.
l Droitwich's Men produced their best display of the season as they drew 0-0 with Newtown.
But Droitwich Spa Fathoms lost 2-0 to Pershore, with David Purchase and Matthew Gurr going close to scoring.
