BROMSGROVE finished the season on a high by winning the Worcestershire Sunday League Cup for the third successive year by defeating Beacon.
Bromsgrove made an excellent start, with openers George Cracknell (47) and Ryan Pedley putting on 123.
Tom Underhill (42) kept the momentum going, but it was Pedley who scorched 121 runs off 111 balls to see Bromsgrove to an imposing 285-4 off 40 overs.
Will Tuffin and Alex Wilkinson then made early breakthroughs to which Beacon never really recovered as they were all out for 159 in the 32nd over.
The win capped a great season for Bromsgrove, which also saw the Fourths win the Worcestershire Division Four 2nd XI title and the T20 team finish runners-up in the County Cup Final.
