AVONCROFT suffered a disappointing defeat to Netherton in Worcestershire League Division Three.
Put into bat first, Croft were dismissed for 170 in the 49th over.
Alex Brunt (43) was the pick of their batsmen.
David James (2-36) made an early breakthrough for the visitors when he bowled Steve Hall for five.
But half-centuries from Troy Lee (68) and Russell Oseland (54) set the platform before they were dismissed by Craig Hughes (2-41).
Ollie Brookes caught Andy Lewis (19) but Mohammed Wasim Nawaz (11no) and Hassan Shah (4no) guided Netherton to 174-4 in reply.
They entertain Ross-on-Wye on Saturday (1pm start).
