Boars set for friendly games

BROMSGROVE begin life under new leadership and with three pre-season friendlies scheduled.

New head coach Dan Protherough will cast a watchful eye over games against Luctonians at home on August 14, Stratford away on August 22 and Worcester Wanderers at Finstall Park on August 29.

Pre-season training has gone well, with new fitness coach Greg Evans putting them through their paces.

Evans will also play for Bromsgrove once he has recovered from injury.

The Boars also remain committed to promoting rugby for all and run a total of four adult sides, plus a veterans’ team.
