HOCKEY: Droitwich Spa Ladies came back from three defeats with a 3-1 win over Kidderminster.
They started slowly allowing the opponents to attack down the right, and despite tough defending from Sue Williams and Pat Hine, Kidderminster took the lead.
But Droitwich soon found their passing range, stretching the Kidderminster defence.
Neat play on the right between Hannah Robson and Georgie Gibbs set up Harriet Grant for a shot on goal which was well saved by the keeper.
Robson was quickest to the rebound, levelling the scores.
Droitwich were unlucky not to go further ahead with short corners before half time.
The second half saw Droitwich push Kidderminster back into their own half.
Robson tormented the Kidderminster defence and set up a chance for Georgie Gibbs to put Droitwich into the lead.
Their opponents fought back, with good saves from Kaleigh Thomas in the Droitwich goal.
However, the game was put beyond reach with a third Droitwich goal.
Skilful play from Megan Wardle allowed Robson to set-up Grant for a close range goal.
