DROITWICH Men’s wait for a first win of the Summer League season goes on after losing 6-0 at Worcester.

Spa conceded a goal in the opening 90 seconds of the game, after Spa gifted Worcester possession who broke decisively, to score the opener.

Matthew Lee led the fight back and had a shot well-saved by the home ‘keeper.

Marcus Claytor continued to cause problems with his pace and trickery whose half chance which was well saved by the home keeper.

George Robertshaw starred in Spa goal kicking away several efforts to keep the score to one nil.

But three goals in two minutes just before half-time changed the game.

After the break, Worcester continued to press, but Droitwich remained dogged in defence.

The hosts eventually completed the scoring late on from a penalty.

Droitwich go into next week home derby game against Redditch in search of the first win at the fourth attempt.

Meanwhile, the ladies suffered a second successive defeat after losing 3-0 at Malvern College.

Spa started strongly but were trailing 2-0 at the break, before the hosts added a third later.

Droitwich face derby rivals Stourport White in their next game.
