BROMSGROVE Sporting are set for a final showdown at their Victoria Ground home on Saturday when they take on Paget Rangers in the Smedley Crooke Memorial Cup (3pm ko).

Tuesday's 2-1 victory over Pilkington XXX, sealed by Mark Bellingham's double, means The Rouslers can end their wait for silverware at their home ground.

Since the club's birth fourth years ago the fans have been waiting for some silverware to celebrate.

With manager Adrian Mander's side in excellent form to secure second place in the Midland Combination Premier, a cup win would be the icing on the cake.

Paget were reinstated in the cup after Malvern were unable to fulfil the fixture on this date and a large crowd is expected to back the hosts, who will be favourites to defeat their Division Two rivals.

"The support has been really good this season, so it would be nice if we could reward them with some silverware," said Mander.

"It was great to finish second and a cup would be the icing on the cake."
