NORTH East Worcestershire Ravens are looking forward to the new season after switching to Kings Norton RFC.
The club have made the move from Bromsgrove RFC’s Finstall Park and will now play and train at the club’s Hopwood Park home, after a vote by the club’s members.
They are looking forward to their new season in the Midlands Premier Division after enjoying their most successful season last year, both on and off the field.
In 2013, Ravens were visited by the Rugby World Cup and also reached their first open age final.
Director of rugby Jason Spafford said: “We have been very lucky to have played at Finstall Park for the last four years and we would like to thank Bromsgrove for hosting us so well during that time.
“The club is now at the stage where we need a more permanent base, that can accommodate us for a longer season.
“Hopwood Park seems to offer this and Kings Norton RFC want to build a partnership which will see both our clubs prosper as we move in the same direction.”
Pre-season fitness training has started, 12 weeks before the start of the new season.
Official pre-season preparations will start on Wednesday, March 19.
Ravens are also holding their season launch over the weekend of February 28.
