STRIKER Andy Nicol has returned to his spiritual home at Fairfield Villa.
He left Studley over Christmas and has signed forms with Fairfield and Midland Alliance pace-setters Highgate United, which means he can play for either side.
Joint manager Paul Oakes said: “Andy often signs for us at the start of the season but because he’s a quality player moves on to bigger things.
“But we’re glad he’s back here, and if he’s not playing for Highgate he will be available for us.”
Mid-table Villa, who saw their game against Coton Green postponed because of a water- logged pitch on Saturday, go to FC Glades Sporting on Saturday (2pm ko).
Meanwhile, Spa’s efforts to get their game on against Barnt Green Spartak ended in a 4-1 defeat, with Andy Crowther bagging their goal.
Droitwich go to Inkberrow in the Evesham Hospital Junior Cup on Saturday (1.30pm ko).
