CYCLING: Riders from across Bromsgrove and Droitwich are being invited to take part in a friendly ride on Boxing Day.
Team V-Sprint, which is ran by James Varnish, is staging a friendly cycle around the lanes of Bromsgrove between 10.30am and 11.30pm.
It is open to people of all ages and abilities, starting at Finstall Village Hall and ending at the The Cross Inn where there will be mince pies available.
Bromsgrove’s very own world class rider Jess Varnish and World BMX Champion Liam Phillips will also be taking part.
TENNIS: Bromsgrove Men C saw pairs Tim Wright and Trevor Errington and Voitek Niedzwiedz and Chris McGregor defeat Bewdley C 4-0.
The A Team also ran out 3-1 winners against Barnt Green, with the first pair of Matt Kirkham and Ben Buckley winning two hard matches.
Bromsgrove’s mixed B team made it a hat-trick of wins when they defeated Boughton B 3-1.
