Five-star Smith cuts Lions apart

Final count down. Droitwich Spa Girls Ravens under-11s have reached the League Cup final.
BROMSGROVE Blades recorded a fine 12-3 win over Alvechurch Lions.
The Blades hit the ground running after an enforced six-week break thanks to goals for Josh Thorn (2), Dylan Wilcock (3), Evan Houghton, Curtis Smith (5) and man-of-the-match Cameron Watts.
Catshill Juniors under-11s got the better of Wythall Juniors 3-1 in the Central Warwickshire Youth League Division B.
After going a goal down, Catshill roared back to win thanks to strikes by Jonathan Troth and Jamie Cox (2).
Meanwhile, Santiago Colts Allstars got the better of Cadbury Athletic 6-2, as Thomas Revill scored on his debut as the Allstars went goal crazy to move out of the bottom two.
Sam Howard (2), Joe Wathan, Josh Donaaghey and Jordan O’Donnell bagged the others.
After being 1-0 down with 10 minutes to go, Santiago Colts Superstars came back to win 3-1 against Chelmsley Town under-10s, with goals from Tom Fellows, Joe Maguire-Cox and Luis Wetherall. Adam Phelps was player-of-the-match.
Santiago Colts Knights defeated Coleshill Colts under-9s 2-1 away from home. Both goals came from Tom Hobbis.
Player-of-the-match Ryan McCarthy scored but Santiago Whites under-9s lost 3-1 to Olton Ravens.
Tia Williams was player-of-the-match as Santiago Colts under-12s were edged out 1-0 by Alvechurch Lions.
Santiago Colts Greens under-9s lost 2-0 to Callowbrook Swifts. Tom Fowkes was player-of-the-match.
Santiago Colts Hot Shots went down 3-0 to Catshill Youth, despite the efforts of player-of-the-match Charlie Linden.
Meanwhile, Droitwich Spa Girls FC have two sides who have reached the finals of their respective Mercian Festival League Cups.
The Coyotes under-10s side and Ravens under-11s team will go for glory at the Langland Stadium in Malvern.
Coyotes defeated St John’s Sports 3-2 after being 2-0 down at half-time. They will now take on Inkberrow Eagles in the final (2pm ko).
Meanwhile, the Ravens saw off Warndon 2-1 in the last four to set-up a clash with Kinver Colts (3pm ko).
