JUNIOR members of Bromsgrove and Redditch AC defied the snow to take part in the West Midlands Young Athletes League in Nuneaton on Sunday.

Felix Gill was the club’s highest finisher with 11th place in the under-11s, while Oriana Ball also finished 15th in the under-17s girls category.

Last weekend, the Midlands Counties Athletics Association at the Alexander Stadium, Birmingham.

Bromsgrove and Redditch athletes put in some excellent performances from the most junior competitors to the seniors.

Candy Lockett started the New Year with three first places, standing her in good stead for an impressive second year competing in the under-15 age category.
