BROMSGROVE Tennis Club Men’s C team continued their good run this week as they secured a victory 4-0 over Bewdley D.
Jeth Tomlinson and Alex Willis teamed up to win their first rubber against Pete Mauger and Joe Slipanczewski.
It was neck and neck after two sets and needed a decider to win.
Their second rubber against Alistair Carter and Andy Minchin followed a similar pattern also requiring a third set.
Voitek Niedzwiedz and Tim Wright won both of their rubbers in two sets After initially going behind in both of their second sets, they came back to comfortably secure victory.
Acting captain, Tomlinson said it was a lot closer than the final score line suggests, but we now have a great chance for promotion with the final match of the season remaining.
