MEADOW Park under-10s rose to second in the Mercian League after they put Badgers Hornets to the sword with a 5-1 win.

Goals for Ryan Jones, Alex Quaynor (2), Jamie Thomas and Liam Webber made short work of Park’s opponents.

Meanwhile, Meadow Park Girls under-16s out-gunned Dosthill Colts with a 4-2 victory.

Goals for striker Lucy Shaw (3) and Mark Sandford made sure they came from behind twice to win the game.

Catshill under-10s remain top of the table following a solid 4-0 win over lowly Woodbourne.

Thomas Revill opened the scoring when his corner deflected off a defender into the back of the net.

David Gwynn’s strike doubled Catshill’s lead and Liam Harrison scored a third in the second half. James Colwell was man of the match for the victors.

The team are already preparing next season when they will move to nine-a-side and are looking to add two or three new faces to the squad.

Bromsgrove Blades under-12s were too strong for Kingshurst Sports as they ran out 4-0 winners thanks to strikes by man of the match Curtis Smith (2), Dylan Wilcock and Cameron Watts.

Santiago Colts Girls beat Withymore Girls 4-2 in the League Cup with two goals from Louise O'Connell, then one each from joint players of the match Reah Scott and Megan Keogh.

Under-15s Premier League leaders Santiago Colts Northfield were held 1-1 by rivals Shirley Town with Liam Baxter scoring and Kia Brooks man of the match.

Santiago Colts Rednal also drew 1-1 with Coldland Colts. Joe Rushton was on target and new signing Josh Phillips was man of the match.

The Colts Superstars had Tom Fellows score and Aaron Benson man of the match in their 1-1 result with rivals AFC Solihull.

Yet another 1-1 draw saw Santiago Colts All Stars deservedly equalise from the penalty spot in the last minute through Sam Howard against Kingshurst Sporting.

Daniel Handley saved from the spot as Santiago Colts Knights under-11s battled to a goalless stalemate with Coleshill Town Colts.

In the under-9s, Santiago Colts Green drew 2-2 thanks to a James Lea strike and own goal.

Santiago Colts Shamrocks under-11s were unlucky to go down 3-2 at the hands of Alvechurch Lions, despite Matty McFall and Archie Conlon scoring.

Santiago Colts White under-9s lost to Bromford Lions, with Sean Griffiths was man of the match.

Finally, the Colts under-12s lost 5-0 against Castle Bromwich United, with Jack Lea was man of the match.
